With over 35 years in the music business with experience ranging from roadie to local bands, hospital radio, andmobile DJ,The past 14years on the Country Scene have been the most enjoyable taking me and my red van and at times my bed (caravan) to parts of the country I would not normally visit , Always to a warm welcome and always come away with a bunch of new friends whether it be acts or the folks like yourselves that attend, Over the years I have tried to give a show to suit all ages and all tastes and although I don't class myself as a linedance DJ that is one thing you can definitely do when I'm on stage Dance! and it's 90% Country (well nobody's perfect), My banter may be a bit cheeky and we do like a bit of fun, but in the same vein rest assured I do take pride in presenting myself in a proffesional manner when working with all the super British bands I've appeared with over the years, One thing I can't take for granted is how I present my sound and over the years have gradually upgraded and improved the equipment I use, and as I'm getting on a bit now! portability is important but not to the extent of sacrificing quality, At this time I think I probably have the ideal sound system for my current needs, and it's nice (as I have) to be complimented on my sound both by the acts and most importantly the audience, I may not be the loudest but that's not what I'm aiming for, (Quality sound you can put up with for hours)Not to bore you but any muso's out there may like to know that my gear consists of : Electrovoice SB122 Bass Bins : Electrovoice ZX1 Tops: Yamaha 1300 Amp: Collins 1000 Amp: Peavey Graphic EQ, Electrovoice XP200 Controller: Kam Pro 1500 Mixer: Kam Twin cd decks: Sennheiser mics: miles of speaker and connecting cable, and last but not least CD'S! not gone down the pc road yet,"Oh and can't forget my mascot percy" That's a bit of my history and what I'm about and as long as I'm able I will continue to terrorise venues around the country and look forward to more super memories. pepper |
